So it begins...

The story of redemption is powerful.

One that speaks to the heart of all men

and begs the question, “why me?”

Yet in the life and very death of Jesus Christ

 – we see the act of redemption,

reaching out to the poor and desperate,

seeking those who needed to be found,

healing those who were sick, sinful, and hopelessly lost.

Ultimately Christ gave the ultimate gift,

His very life, to redeem all people from sin and He continues to give the gift of eternal life to all who believe.

The theme of redemption echoes in our very souls, moving us forward to show the love of God to others

 – just as Jesus did for us.

 In Hebrews we are commanded,

“And do not neglect doing good and sharing,

for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

Hebrews 13:16.

It is with this in mind, that we have begun a new journey that God has laid before us.

It will be a long road, with possible disappointment and frustration,

but overflowing with blessing beyond measure

and the fulfillment that comes when obedient to God’s leading.

Adoption.

A little girl has been calling to our hearts, “come, take me home.”

She is an orphan.

She has been waiting her entire life for her very own family.

She has Down syndrome

and cataracts and needs a family who will love her,

support her, and help her reach her full potential.

God has uniquely equipped us to understand

the needs of children with Down syndrome,

by giving us AJ, who has Down syndrome.

We are surrounded by an amazing network of family, friends, church members, doctors and educators who share the same passion for helping those in need.

We have been uniquely prepared to welcome another child into their home,
because we have 5 children of our own and
have experienced a myriad of trials and tribulations .

We are anxious to meet our new daughter and covet your prayers, words of encouragement and partnership with us on this new journey.
